Baqueira, Beret and Bonaigua

Skiing for everyone: beginners, descents, ascents, slaloms or snow-board. Three zones that make up the great station: Baqueira, Beret and Bonaigua. Beret is the most advisable zone for skiing beginners with its reduced number of paths.

Beret

This is the right place for the adrenaline and adventure junkies. If you like snowboarding and freestyle skiing, the Beret sector will instantly be your favourite resort as you have the chance to find two unique snowparks of Baquiera Beret. Moreover, the Blanhiblar sector situated at an altitude between 1900m and 2000m hosts the Serra snowpark of Baqueira Beret. Awesome!

Baqueira

The Baqueira sector is the most various and ancient area of the whole station. Once there, you can find anything from the green slopes where you can learn skiing or enjoy your family trip in the snow, to the steep slopes such as the famous "Escornacabres" that are among the most popular in this resort.

Bonaigua

This is the most distant and main destination of professional skiers. The area is plently of "off-track" sites and freerider areas. Nevertheless, if you are one of them you can still go with your family, as in Bonaigua there is also a playground for children over the age of 2 years.

Aprés-Ski el Valle de Arán

There is an infinite number of possibilities: spas, museums, dog or horse slegging, snowmobiles, hiking snowshoes, visits to gastronomic restaurants (dairies, caviar) or activities such as rock climbing, zip lines ... There is even the possibility to make an helicopter trip to one of the highest peaks of the mountain.

Another good idea is mountain hiking for discovering the several shelters of the high mountain’s paths. Many of them cross the so called “Carros de foc" area. Otherwise, take advantage of the romanesque architecture and outstanding rural settings.

There is a wide gastronomic variety in Baqueira where you have all kinds of restaurants and for all kinds of budgets but, of all the Valle de Arán, the places with the best gastronomy are Vielha and Artés.
